Responsibility in our partner countries
As everyone knows, gemstones do not grow on trees; they are treasures that the Earth's crust keeps hidden, sometimes more and sometimes less. As an internationally active family business, we embrace our social responsibility in the countries with which we are connected through the gemstone trade.
In Tanzania, a large number of fathers and mothers are still dying as a result of the HIV epidemic. They frequently leave behind children and adolescents who are orphans or have lost one parent. The organization Partnerschaft für Afrika e.V. has launched a program to counter this, with a recipe for fighting poverty based on education and care from A to Z.
Isaline Arnoldi became aware of the organization through a shared hobby with its founder, Friederike Heidenhof. We have been actively supporting it ever since.
We want to give something back to the countries from which many of our raw stones originate.
Our main priority is to help children get on the right path through schooling and further support, so that they can lead an independent life later on.
It is always the people who keep a society running and hold it together. That is why we are happy to support the project.
